I was asked to create an illustration to accompany a poem being published in a Professional Journal for Pediatric Physical and Occupational Therapists who care for children with Down syndrome. The Journal is a comprehensive study guiding therapists to a common approach on how to care for the needs and wants of parents with Down Syndrome, as they often feel unequipped for their journey. The poem describes the challenges, fears and questions parents have as they travel life's road.
